The Highest Quality Centrifugal and Axial Fans Available  for Commercial and Institutional Boiler Applications
Important Design Features

Centrifugal type design to develop higher static pressure compared to a propeller type draft inducer.   Bearings are outside the flow of flue gases. Motor, bearings, pulleys and drive belt are located to provide longer life and easier maintenance. (Belt guard not shown.)

Outlet dampers are offered where draft control systems are utilized.   Fan wheels are electronically dynamic balanced to provide longer bearing and motor life.

Auburn Axial Induced Draft Fans for Commercial and Institutional Applications

 Fan

  • Ambient air circulates around shaft and bearings, insulated from the hot gases by the ceramic fiber-filled air tube assembly.
  • The sub-assembly of fan, shaft and bearing assembly, motor and air tube is easily removable for service.
  • High temperature paint withstands up to 600° F without film failure.

 Shaft & Bearing Assembly

  • The shaft is machined from turned, ground and polished, medium carbon steel.  Tolerances of .001" eliminate misalignment through bearings.
  • Special fixed/float cartridge bearings are factory sealed with high temperature lubricant for extended life.

 Fan Wheel

  • Heavy duty propeller type blade.
  • Electronically balanced.
  • Electro-coated enamel finish helps prevent corrosion.
  • Welded hub.

 Motor/Pulley/Belt

  • High efficiency totally enclosed fan cooled motor with 1.15 service factor.
  • Adjustable motor base allows for easy belt tensioning.
  • V-belt/pulley drive eliminates troublesome field alignment of shafts.
